In 2019, our Building Connections program invested $225,000 in 9 women’s organizations and raised $500,000 through a matching challenge.
We fill “funding holes” in the philanthropic landscape.
In 2020, with the global pandemic and the sunsetting of one of the biggest funders of adolescent girls in the US, the Ms. Foundation stepped up to fill the need with our Girls of Color Initiative, moving more than $1M to 70 grantee partners serving girls and gender expansive youth of color across the country.

We equip under-resourced leaders with the tools needed to drive change.
We address this deficit with our Capacity Building program. Since 2020, we invested $1.4M to provide over 300 engagements in leadership training, coaching, and financial management. We consistently see the demand outweigh available support and on average, Ms. Foundation meets 1 out of every 4 requests for capacity building support. With your partnership, we can close that gap.
